PARTICIPATION
Despite our chronic medical conditions we have evolved into a very pro-active group.
We keep abreast of developments in pain management and treatment through our regular meetings. All members attend as much as their personal circumstances allow.
When the group meets
On the last Wednesday of each month in the Parish Hall at Christchurch in Stoke Road, Gosport. Start time 10 a.m finish time 12.30pm
Additionally we arrange visits and attendance at other venues. A list of forthcoming events is posted on the "Events" page of this website. We welcome all who grapple with daily blight of chronic pain.
If you would like to join the group please use the "Contacts Page" on this website.
Early in 2013 we raised a petition to voice our concerns regarding the withdrawal of funding for pain management within our area and delivered it to Fareham and Gosport Clinical Commissioning Group (F&G CCG).
The President and current Chair met with representatives of the CCG to discuss these concerns and also share ideas on any improvements to the pain management pathway. We have since maintained our engagement with the CCG to ensure that the pain pathway is sustained for all sufferers in the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Area.
